2026 Girls Division Information and Registration Link

The PIHL is happy once again to announce that we are now accepting registrations for the fifth season of the Girl's Division.

Eligibility

Girls must be enrolled in grades 9 through 12 during the 2025-2026 academic school year. PIHL rules and USA Hockey rules and guidelines for participation in varsity high school hockey will be strictly adhered to. Players must also adhere to their respective schools’ eligibility requirements for participation in extracurricular activities/athletic teams including: physicals, grade point average, approval from their athletic department, etc.  All players must be residents of Pennsylvania or West Virginia.  Prior playing experience is recommended.

Season

Tentatively, practices and regular season games will begin in April and conclude with the PIHL Girls Division playoffs and championship game in May or early June of 2026.

Coaches

Head coaches and assistant coaches shall meet all PIHL and USA Hockey requirements for coaching accreditation and background checks.

Team Composition

Teams will be formed based upon school districts, geographical location, and player experience skill level as much as possible and practicable. Girls that attend the same school shall be assigned to the same team.

Fees and Registration

The PHL will be utilizing online Stat Zone registration again this year.  A non-refundable $150.00 deposit, which will be deducted from your balance, will be required at the time of registration. The total estimated amount of the player fee will be no more than $1,100.00.  The total amount of the fee will be finalized before team rosters are released.  Upon acceptance of a roster position, you will have the option to pay the fees in full or in equal payments.
