The PIHL Player of the Month in Varsity Class AA for January 2019 is Devin Rohrich of Upper Saint Clair.
Rohrich had 5 multi-point games in the month, and not coincidentally, the Panthers marched to a 5-1 record in January. Rohrich showed his diversity with a 4-goal game against Hampton on January 14th and a 5-assist night on January 31st against Armstrong. A pair of 2-goal games against Hampton and Hempfield led to key wins in a tight battle within the Class AA standings. Rohrich totaled an even 10 goals and 10 assists on the month, including 5 goals on the power play. Those numbers boosted the junior forward into the points lead among Class AA scorers.
The Pittsburgh Penguins will recognize Devin Rohrich during their January 28th game at PPG Paints Arena.
