The senior goaltender was stellar between the pipes for the Tigers, allowing just 1 goal in 2 games in the month for a 0.50 goals against average. He turned aside the other 52 shots that came his way in those games, totaling a save percentage of .981. His 28-save performance on November 5th against Central Catholic helped his team overcome its only loss of the season in its prior game, then his shutout against rival Seneca Valley on November 26th entrenched North Allegheny atop the Class AAA standings.
The Pittsburgh Penguins will recognize Richard Karapandi on the ice during their December 20th game at PPG Paints Arena.
